Cookies Policy of the Frasassi Experiences app

Our Cookie Policy aims to describe the types of cookies used by the Frasassi Experiences App (hereinafter the “Application”), the purposes of the installed cookies, and how the User can select or deselect the cookies present on the Application and that use the services offered.

We use cookies to make our Application easier and more intuitive. The data collected through cookies are used to make the browsing experience more pleasant and more efficient in the future.

WHAT ARE COOKIES

Cookies are small text strings that the applications visited by the User send to their device (usually the browser), where they are stored to be retransmitted to the same applications on the next visit by the same User.

The term cookie refers to both cookies themselves and all similar technologies.

Cookies are used to access online services more quickly and to improve the User’s browsing by monitoring sessions, storing user information, loading content faster, etc.

TYPES OF COOKIES

Cookies can be:

  • First-party cookies: these are proprietary cookies used by the Application to allow the User to navigate more efficiently and/or to monitor the actions performed by the User;
  • Third-party cookies: these are cookies set by a site other than the one currently visited through the Application, in order to allow the User to navigate more efficiently and/or to monitor the actions performed by the User.

Additionally, there are different types of cookies:

  • Technical and Analytical Cookies: these are cookies related to activities strictly necessary for the functioning and delivery of the service (e.g. session cookies for login), cookies related to saving preferences and optimization (e.g. cookies for saving the shopping cart or language/currency choices, etc.), and analytical cookies to collect information in anonymous and aggregated form. Technical cookies include:
    • Session or Navigation Cookies: used to track the User’s activity on the web. They ensure normal browsing and use of the Application, allowing, for example, faster navigation, making purchases, or authenticating to access restricted areas, and are in fact necessary for proper functioning;
    • Functionality Cookies: allow the User to browse according to a set of selected criteria (e.g. language, selected products for purchase, etc.) in order to improve the service provided;
    • Analytical Cookies: used to collect information on the use of the Application. The Data Controller uses this information for statistical analysis, to improve the Application and simplify its use, as well as to monitor its proper functioning. This type of cookie collects information in anonymous form about Users’ activity on the Application and how they reached the Application and the pages visited. Cookies in this category are sent by the Application itself or by third-party domains. Analytical cookies can be:
      • First-party analytical cookies: considered as technical cookies from a regulatory standpoint if used directly by the Data Controller without profiling the User, but only to collect information in aggregated and anonymous form on the number of Users and how they visit the Application for statistical purposes and to improve performance;
      • Third-party analytical cookies: provided by third parties and considered as technical cookies if the third parties do not perform User profiling through tools suitable for reducing the identifying power of cookies (e.g. masking significant portions of the IP address) and without combining the collected information with other data already in their possession.
      For technical cookies, only the Cookie Policy is required without the need to request consent. Disabling or deleting them through browser settings may compromise optimal browsing on this Application.
  • Profiling Cookies: used to monitor the User’s web browsing and create a profile of their habits:
    • First-party profiling cookies: installed by the Data Controller to create profiles relating to the User in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed during web browsing. Due to their particular intrusiveness in the private sphere, applicable regulations require that the User, after being adequately informed, must give consent;
    • Third-party profiling cookies: used by third parties who access information in clear form, therefore not in anonymous and aggregated mode, and combine it with other data already in their possession. The Application does not have direct control over individual third-party cookies. Users are therefore invited to check the cookie information on the third-party website.
    The use of these cookies requires the User’s prior consent.
